I open this petition with the first amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a
redress of grievances.
Reading about the healthcare reform does bring me grief. It is in grief that I defend this country and its freedom. America was not conquered but was sought out with a great price. Even today men and women sacrifice their very lives to keep sacred this great privilege. This healthcare reform threatens the freedom of choice, thought, life and protection. The reform will most likely bring nurses and doctors into a forced agreement to perform practices violating their own conscience and free will as mentioned in the Constitution. Also included in the reform may be the mandate of taxpayers' money to fund abortions. Much of our money will be used to fund healthcare in submission to the government. If this reform does happen we will all face severe consequences. We will lose our individual rights. This country stands apart because of our rights. Do not let the blood of our soldiers be in vain. Sign this petition and refuse universal healthcare. The government's original role was never meant to rule over an individual's conscience or hard earned money. The government will not take care of you! We must take care of eachother.
14th Amendment:
