Petition Calling for a Sea Change in how Canada Manages and Protects its Fisheries and Oceans!

Recognizing that over-fishing and habitat destruction is severely impacting the health of our oceans and the prosperity of our coastal communities, we hereby call on the Government of Canada to act immediately to include protection of ocean habitat in fisheries management and meet its obligation to create a network of marine protected areas by 2012.
