Plainfield South Physics Trip

This year (2009-2010) Plainfield South will not be participating in the annual physics field trip due to a new rule stating that field trips can only be 15 dollars and under. Due to the fact that the Six Flags trip is over 15 dollars, our school is not allowed to participate. However, every other high school in our school district is going. This rule only applies to Plainfield South and should be taken away since field trips are optional. If one does not have the money to pay for it, they will simply not go. By having this 15 dollar and under rule, we are being deprived of a hands-on learning expirience only because the school does not want us to go.
