Save the Baracchino!!
People, the issue is a serious one: the former mayor of Pisa, Fontanelli, widely impopular for his prohibitionism at the time of the WC 2006, approved a project for a cycling road passing near to the basilica of S. Piero a Grado. The terrible thing about that, is that the road is planned to be built on the soil where our beloved baracchino lays. It seems that there'll be no chances for the baracchino to survive: it will be closed and healty bikers will replace the oily alici alla povera. The mythical insalatona will soon become a true myth, and let us not forget the formaggi & salami misti platter!

Encompassing the basilica of S. Piero a Grado, which conserves the Baracchino will mean to%uFFFDobliterate%uFFFD a, to say the least, very important part of the pisani's daily life! %uFFFDBy%uFFFDdoing%uFFFDthis not only%uFFFDthere'll be no chances for the baracchino to survive: it will be closed and healty bikers will replace the oily alici alla povera. The mythical insalatona will soon become a true myth, and let us not forget the formaggi & salami misti platter! but also, it will not%uFFFDprovide for continued, and very much needed subsistence for the locals of S. Piero a Grado Hence a%uFFFDcycling%uFFFDroute is%uFFFDdefinitely%uFFFDnot compatible with these purposes!!!!
