Protect Malaysia's Elephants: Return Dara, Amoi and Kelat and Stop Wildlife Transfers Overseas
Elephants like Dara, Amoi and Kelat come from vast tropical habitats, where elephants are meant to roam freely, walk with their herd, and live in the environment that shaped them.
In a zoo enclosure in Japan, the elephants eat dry grass. Their baths come from tap water sprayed from a hose. There is no herd to walk with, no long journeys like in the wild—only a narrow space, like a silent concrete prison.
We demand the government to bring back Dara, Amoi and Kelat immediately, so they can return to the land where they belong.
