The group Hookups was recently "disabled" because advertising and sales groups are not permitted on steam according to Steam. Steam threw the rules at us without even having the rule in the Legal Rules of Steam. It doesn't even say those two words in the Steam Subscriber Agreement which they told us was the reason the group of 12,500 members was disabled.

The only reason Hookups Steam Support knew about Hookups and shut it down was because we contacted Steam Support regarding a mock group and asked whether or not it was against the rules to have a group copy Hookups like that. The response we got was 2 copy and paste responses that had nothing related to the question. The we asked they read the question about the mock group, without a hesitation Hookups was disabled and put under "investigation".
This group was a great asset for many people who would come and check it loyally everyday since we found deals from all around the net that were 110% safe for them to buy from. We only went to and found deals from trusted re-sellers of digital keys like for example GreenManGaming, GamersGate, Gamestop, and many more.
We need to point out to Steam that they aren't following their own rules when it comes to groups. They said we broke a rule that was not even there to be broken.
We need Hookups on Steam to help gamers find the best deals on Steam games and many more.
