No more bear paw soup in Cambodia

Asiatic Black Bears and Sun Bears, who live in Cambodia, are both listed on the IUCN Red List as threatened species. It is illegal for anyone to traffic in wildlife that are on the IUCN Red List. We are speechless and shocked to hear about bear hunting for bear paw soup in Cambodia.
Dear Ambassador,

We are speechless and shocked to hear about bear hunting for bear paw soup in Cambodia.

Your country%u2019s representatives should know by now that Asiatic Black Bears and Sun Bears, who live in Cambodia, are both listed on the IUCN Red List as threatened species. It is illegal for anyone to traffic in wildlife that are on the IUCN Red List.

We are asking you to act immediately to ensure the conservation of the bears and their habitat:

- Stop bear hunting and consumption of bear paw soup immediately!
- Create a law that makes bear hunting and owning, importing and consuming of bears and/or parts illegal AND ensure that those who break the law are punished accordingly!!
- Support the conservation of the bears%u2019 natural habitat!
- Start educational programs to teach people how important bears are and what every single person can do to protect them from going extinct!

We are looking forward to receiving your feedback and thank you for taking the time to consider our concerns.
