Help Tapp!

Jefferson County Public School Board of Education are trying to combine South Park Tapp and Westport Tapp. I don't believe this is the best ideal because teen moms that come to tapp come to further their education South park is a very long distance from where most of us at Westport live. At Westport if we miss the bus we have a tarc that can bring us right in front of the school but out South Park theres no tarc stops even around, we will have alot more absents and/or drop out because of the distance. We also have smaller class sizes so we have a better opportunity to make better grades and get a better understanding because the teachers can stop and help at our pace but if we are combined we will have bigger class sizes like regular high school and we're taking a bigger chance on putting not only teen moms education in jeopardy but the babys to. There won't be enough room in the childcare for all the children which means moms will be missing more school, grades will get lower, and with this will come more dropouts. Tapp was built so teen mothers could further their education and not have to worry about where they have to find a place for their kid (or in my case kids) to go everyday while they go to school.
