Tennessee enact Wanton Waste, Now!

Wanton waste means, “to intentionally waste something negligently or inappropriately."

As of November, 20, 2017 Tennessee has yet to establish a Wanton Waste law preventing someone from wasting game meat that he or she obtained. Many states have enacted such laws and enforce them with success. I understand that this law may not prevent people from leaving a deer, dove, turkey, and many other species of fish and game but it would certainly give law enforcement an avenue of prosecution for those that do. It's past time for Tennessee to get on board with Wanton Waste.
