The United Nation and Our leaders.
You are standing today in front of an important decision that might influence our world. How to handle a leader that challenges the peaceful and normative societies. We want to remind you that you were elected by us in order to protect our security, freedom, human rights and well being and encourage you to make a courageous and  firm action. To do your job.
The Iranian leader, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, tests your patience, intelligence and leadership. This person's actions were considered by the Americans as a "negotiation ploy" and "political stunt", and his country since 1984 appears in the US state sponsors of International terrorism. In his speech in April 2008 he minimized the September 11th attack and called it "a suspicious event". In October 2008 expressed happiness at the global economic crises, called it "collapse of the liberalism" and said that Iran was proud to put an end to liberal economy. He called Israel the "disgraceful stain on the Islamic world" that should be "wiped from the pages of history". He called the Holocaust a lie, while murdering his own people because they dared to go against him...This person is building his nuclear power just under your nose, threatening not only his middle east neighbours, not just the Israelis but also world peace.
What do you do about it? You condemn him, you try to talk reason with him, use diplomacy, consider different sanctions and meanwhile let him enter your countries, stand on the most honourable platforms to spread his evil thoughts and ideas and continue its countries armament.
You are not doing your job!
Let us remind you of some historical facts (just examples):It took an ethnic cleansing and genocide before NATO became actively involved in the war of former Yugoslavia.
It took  more than 2 decades of  serious sanctions and embargo to, finally, end 4 decades of Apartheid in south Africa. Do we have the time?
It took almost 3 years and one pearl Harbour attack for the Americans to waive its neutral policy and join the second world war. In this time Hitler and the Nazi regime succeeded to fool many of the diplomats who met with him and his people, to sign agreements like Molotov-Ribbentrop and break them, to conquer Poland, Czechoslovakia, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, invade the Soviet Union. Between 50 to 75 million  people  were killed, and entire cities and the European economy  were destroyed.
What would have happened if the US would have joined the war before? How many lives could have been saved? Do we always have to wait until catastrophe happens before we take real measures? Why not learn from history? We call upon you, our chosen leaders, to take some real actions against this fanatic and frightening dictator in order to save lives, freedom and democracy.
I would like to thank you for taking the time reading this letter.
This petition express a big concern from the situation in Iran, its getting heavily and nuclearly armed  and a call for you, as the presidency of the security council to share our concern and  call for action with the leaders of your countries.
