Fred Hartman bridge gate

So many people have tried and have committed suicide of the bridge ! And I feel if they creat a border a gate or an alert of some sort that alerts the authority! It wouldn't be as possible ! I feel if they tried harder to prevent it so many people wouldn't have it as an option for a way out ! Thank you
