Decatur Island Zip Code

In the 1980's Decatur Island lost its own zip code, 98242. As part of a civics project, the students at Decatur Island School wrote to USPS, Washington DC, to try and get 98242 reinstated. The students were directed to contact the local district manager in Federal Way showing local interest and support.
