Reimagine Our Economy: Fair,Equitable, and Future-Ready

“Reimagine Our Economy: Fair, Equitable, and Future-Ready”

    Opening Statement:
We, the undersigned, call on Congress to take immediate steps to prepare for a future where automation, AI, and robotics reshape the workforce. Our current economic system is increasingly failing ordinary Americans: taxes fall on human labor while corporations and technology accumulate immense wealth. Millions of people are left overworked, underpaid, and insecure, while essential public services face funding shortfalls.

We demand a forward-looking approach that prioritizes human dignity, equity, and sustainability.

    Our Vision:
    • Basic needs guaranteed: Food, housing, healthcare, and education for all citizens.
    • Labor and contribution-based economy: Citizens contribute time, skills, or labor instead of being taxed on income.
    • Robotics and AI integration: Automation handles production and logistics efficiently, reducing human toil.
    • Transparent, accountable governance: Modernized municipal and federal structures, including a redefined D.C., free from corporate-style control.

    Call to Action:
    We urge Congress to:
    1. Establish a bipartisan task force to study the feasibility of a resource-based economy.
    2. Launch pilot programs in local communities to test labor-credit systems and AI-managed resource distribution.
    3. Plan a phased transition toward a system that guarantees basic human needs while responsibly integrating advanced technologies.

    Closing Statement:
The future of work, fairness, and social stability depends on rethinking how we value labor, resources, and governance. We call on Congress to act now to ensure a just, equitable, and sustainable economy for all Americans.
