The bridge is $11.08 for New York E-Zpass users, It is $6.25 for Staten Island residents, Plus Staten Island residents get a commuter rate of $3.75 with 3 people in the car. This is the ORIGINAL "HIGHWAY ROBBERY".
I work in Staten Island and pay that toll 5 days a week. It is cheaper to live in NJ and commute to Staten Island because those bridges give everybody who has e-zpass a special commuter price.
Brooklyn residents should get the same break as Staten Island residents.
To whom it may concern,
Verrazano bridge toll is to high. They keep raising the toll. Most people's sallary does not change to cover these raises. It is now $11.08 for anybody that has a New York E-Zpas. $16.00 if you don't. The residents of Staten Island pay $6.25 and they also have a commuter rate of $3.75 with three people in the car. This is the ORIGINAL "HIGHWAY Robbery".
I work in Staten Island and it is too expensive to travel every day. I know people who moved to NJ because it is a cheaper commute. The bridges from NJ to Staten island give a commuter break. If you go over at least 3 times you get it for $6.00.
People who live in Brooklyn should get the same discount as people in Staten Island.
