DNC Needs to Hold a Climate Debate

This week, the Democratic National Committee announced it would not devote one of its dozen primary debates to climate cahnge. Making matters worse, it also threatened to ban candidates from all official debates if they attempt to debate climate change policy in an unsanctioned setting.

Talk about ignoring a huge issue! Nothing is more critical to the earth, and in turn registered Democratic voters who list it as their #1 priority. It only makes sense to give candidates a devoted forum to explain their visions and policies on this issue, rather than rushing through a couple dozen candidates' thoughts in thirty-second increments.

We call on the DNC to reconsider this poorly-made decision and give such an important issue the proper amount of time to be discussed on the debate stage. Prove to concerned voters that the Democratic Party takes this issue seriously.
