Using empty homes for the homeless

Official government data shows that on any given night in autumn last year, 4,751 people were recorded sleeping on the streets, a figure that has more than doubled since 2010 Shutterstock

Latest Government data suggests that there are over 200,000 homes that have been empty for over six months.  Some of these may not stay empty (if they are on the market, or are being renovated). But others are stuck empty, perhaps because of inheritance issues or because their owners are holding on to the property hoping for a rise in its value before selling it.

I  am not against making money it's about surviving, but people being on the street just because these people just want to leave there house empty for more than a year let's cut homeless by making these people rent or sell there empty homes to local councils.
