Theresa May called a snap election in the hope of cementing her power, after assuring us all she wouldn't. She did so in the interest of her career and her party, not in the interest of the public or the country. She took the easy road and when it started to look like things were going against her she hid from the public. She ran from debates. She failed us all.
She claimed this election would place the country in a stronger position in Brexit negotiations; it hasn't. She claimed she would bring strength and stability to our politics; she did not. When our country was in mourning she blamed minorities and called for an end to our human rights - only to distract from her own failures as Home Secretary. She oversaw the decimation of our public services and the humiliation of the most vulnerable in our society.
Theresa May represents the worst of our country - self interested, closed minded, short-sighted and arrogant.
We the people call on her to recognise her failings, we call on her to accept that she does not represent us, we call on her to stand down now.
To use your own cheap slogan, Theresa: enough is enough.
