Domestic Rabbits Can't Survive in the Wild. Stop the Cruelty of Dumping Them.

A shocking scene played out in New York City recently: domestic rabbits used as props for a photo shoot with Anna Delvey – infamous scammer and fake heiress – were later found abandoned in Prospect Park. Thankfully, these bunnies, named Parker, Moon, and Joaquin, were lucky enough to be rescued. But most rabbits dumped outside aren't so fortunate.

This could have been avoided. This is a chance to educate people to keep more rabbits from suffering the same fate.

Sign the petition to demand that the people responsible for this rabbit disaster are held accountable!

Domestic rabbits are not wild animals. They can't forage for food, escape predators, or survive extreme weather. Abandoning them is a death sentence – a slow one filled with starvation, disease, and terror.

Yet right now, people who treat animals like disposable accessories face little to no consequences. New York must act. It's time to educate the public that domestic pets cannot survive in the wild.

Sign the petition to demand New York protect domestic rabbits from abandonment and hold those responsible accountable!
