Save Rockwood Park

In 1893 Rockwood Park was established by the New Brunswick legislature. At 2200acres Rockwood Park is a natural wonder in the heart of Saint John, and is one of North America's largest city parks.
The city of Saint John wishes to sell parts of Rockwood Park to developers who want to build townhouses, condos, five story buildings and possibly larger. They deny this, but this information comes from the report the city commissioned, the same report council approved.
Rockwood Park has pristine old growth sections of forest which help fight climate change, acts as a natural air filter in a heavily industrial city, provides mental and physical health benefits to all of our citizens and is a tourist draw that contributes to our local economy. Please sign our petition .
