Save our heritage - Save Heaps Rice Mill from the rot

Heaps Rice Mill is a landmark building situated on the buffer of the World Heritage site. Listed in 2014 by Historic England following a public campaign the building remains undeveloped and has not had a formal condition report since listing, leaving the building vulnerable to decay and eventual loss.
As citizens we have a responsibility to protect our cultural assets and look for alternatives to preserving our heritage. A crisis in affordable housing and depleting government revenues means we need to look at more alternative ways of generating income, redeveloping our historic building for re-use, building on our extensive brownfield sites and saving our green spaces. Please sign the petition to ensure Heaps Rice Mill which is under the care of Liverpool City Council is protected and that they carry out an inspection as a matter of  urgency to ascertain its current condition
