Remove Wood Chips From Dream Park

It's time to upgrade our largest playground in Port Angeles!

Remove the wood chips that can hide objects such as syringes, and give parents and children the peace of mind that they can play without worry.

The May 26, 2018 incident of a small child being poked with a used syringe at Dream Playground is a reminder of the worry citizens feel when using public parks.

Children need and deserve a safe area to run and play! Time to remove these wood chips and insert rubber tiles. City of Port Angeles: we urge you to promptly deal with this issue.

Update #15 years ago
update.
The city has mentioned redoing the entire park!
Let's keep this rolling because it's important if they rebuild it that they see how important a safe parl is!
