CHOA- Closing outpatient Rehab for North Georgia Locations

CHOA Forsyth handles Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies for Kids in North of Atlanta all the way to the North Georgia State Lines. Some kids already drive one hour or more just to these locations for their therapy needs. Up until now CHOA has done a great job catering to kids but taking this away and forcing parents to fight for spots, not guaranteed their therapist because they may not have jobs and choose between long drives that could be harmful and the therapy they need is not optimizing their care. We as parents are these kids advocates and to claim this was a difficult choice was apparently not difficult enough. If CHOA was truly optimizing care for these kids they would find a way to open more facilities not downsize.
