Cleaning Products Are as Unhealthy as Cigarettes - Demand Proper Labeling!

Scientists have found that using cleaning products regularly is just as bad for you as smoking a pack of cigarettes everyday. This is a horrifying new statistic and consumers deserve to be warned, just as they are with cigarettes.

Sign the petition to tell the FDA that cleaning supplies should come with the same health warnings that cigarettes do!

The study also found that women suffered more greatly due to the fact that they tend to be the ones doing most of the regular cleaning. I personally always assumed they must be safe to breathe, even though there were crazy chemicals in them. Now that I think about it, it makes sense that breathing tiny particles of toxic chemicals will damage your lungs. We knew this to be true in the short term, but now we know the damage of long term use too.

Essentially, we have been tricked into thinking these sprays with industrial chemicals in them will actually make us safer. But scientists say that for most things, using water and a micro fiber cloth is sufficient. This information should be easily available and it's the FDA's job to make it so.
