Protect Our Children

Recently California Senate Bill 1456 failed. This bill would have been used to protect students from teachers or school employees that have a prior history of sexual abuse or harassment. The Teachers Union and ACLU opposed the bill.
Just as the catholic church failed to protect children from sexual predators, the California schools are now making the same mistake. This is worse than a mistake, it is criminal. Please sign this petition to apply pressure on state officials to protect our children rather than those that wish them harm.
There are many protests against gun violence on behalf of student safety and rightly so. However, the students also need protection from school teachers and employees that are sexual predators as well. If we don't speak up for our children, who will?
