Please help save our Old Florida Heritage Neighborhood!

There is a proposal to pave and put a drainage system in our beautiful hammock neighborhood across from Bing's Landing in Flagler County. This would result in the destruction of 98 trees including 48 live oaks and would forever alter the character of this beautiful place. Our neighborhood is enjoyed by its residents and surrounding communities as a tranquil place to walk or bike in the shade of beautiful old live oaks. It is a part of the scenic A1A corridor and home to numerous birds and other rapidly disappearing wildlife. There are so few places like this left due to overdevelopment. We are requesting that our neighborhood be preserved as is and that drainage be addressed on First Avenue only if the residents there desire it.
Please show your support by signing this petition and by contacting our county commissioners to tell them to preserve our neighborhood in perpetuity.
