Demand An End To Private Own Prisons

I, like many others, are a prison of private prisons through the unfair judicial systems that use their power to give long term prison terms to mainly people of color. My son Joshua Hill Williams was given a life sentence for killing someone who robbed him. This person had several warrants and was robbing people for drugs and to fulfill his gang's expectations. My son was a working citizen whose future was taken away from him to fulfill the legalists stock interests in Tennessee's private owned prisons. The attorney didn't bother to fufill her part by filing the appeal in a timely manner and judge only allowed this attornry to file the appeal and no other. The attorney stopped communicating with us immediately after het partner, the judge, rapped the gavel. Neither of them could face us afterwards. The judges tell the prosecutors to check the financial statuses of inmates and family members to assure that a bond or charge will be set far beyond what they can afford. Thereby continuing a broken system that will increase poverty by making the middle class and poor even more poorer and the rich more wealthy. The food and beverage costs are extremely high inmates visitors and inmates are placed hundreds of miles away costing family members more by renting hotels etc...Private owned prisons have very high crime rates mainly to a lack required activities that states do not enforce. Solution: Close For Profit prisons and de-bar and heavily fine lawyers, judges, and proscecutors for giving unjustly long term sentences. Investigate all appeal cases that were intentionally ignored and penalize those involved.
