Salmestone Ward and Margate needs its own Community Center

Salmestone Ward Residents Association has identified an empty and unused property in Salmestone Ward and approached Thanet District Council for the use of said property. However, Thanet District Council said that they are going to leave the property empty for the time being. Why? What is their game? It does not make sense. This could, and should, be used for the benefit of Salmestone Ward and Margate. We would work with other groups and agencies to help all the people of Margate TDC think again
