Encourage Fundraising Events Without Killing

For the past 6 years, a group in Sheboygan County, WI has held a fundraising event benefitting the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund.  A noble cause, but this event includes killing 500+ cottontail rabbits every year.  

This event raises approximately 83% of it's money in other ways, including auctioning off donated items, raffles, a brat fry and a concert.  The killing of wildlife is not necessary and is offensive to many cancer patients fighting for their lives.

We are respectfully asking the recipient, Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund, to encourage future fundraisers to be held without the wildlife killing component.
