On October 15th, the annual Wild Mushroom Festival is taking place in Mystic, Connecticut, at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. Every year, hundred of mycophiles come and celebrate the many uses of much-beloved mushrooms, from food to craft to simple natural aesthetics. please send grover back It's a fun, special educational opportunity, especially for college students looking to relax after a difficult, traumatic experience at sea. Tickets cost $38, and so are not easily affordable by individual students, but it's definitely something that the program can cover--but only if there's sufficient interest from the student body.
