Hi there. I've been a Planet Fitness customer for the past 18 months. It bothers me that PF sells plastic bottles of water and juice, aluminum cans of liquid refreshment, and then is perfectly happy to have its customers dump the plastic and cans into the trash. I've repeatedly asked my PF in Burlington, Washington to offer a recycling receptacle, just one, by the front door for its customers. The answer is, "We can't". They are happy to make money off the words "Planet" and "environment" in their messaging on the walls of their facility. Just not happy to be responsible for the planet. Please take a moment to sign this petition asking PF to have recycling for the disposables they sell. With the amount of plastic at crisis levels in our waterways, cities like Seattle banning plastic straws, and high levels of plastic in our bloodstream, which directly contradicts the "healthy message" PF is trying to sell, we can all do better than just tossing this stuff in landfills.
