Sumner County Board of Education Has a Policy That Prevents No Students From Other Counties

It has been brought to Hendersonville High School's and the Sumner County Board of Education's attention that an African American Family attempted to enroll their teens in to Hendersonville High School and were told NO EXCEPTIONS for out of county even though the teens had Grandparents living in Hendersonville. They were turned away and sent to Robertson County even though they were stayin with their grandparents while their new home was being finished. They were told a residence is not a place you can stay when you want that a Residence is where your home is. Recently a white student moved to Robertson County but has been allowed to remain at HHS. Information and Evidence has been shown to the school and the Board but they refuse to act...... Is it because this student is "WHITE" and "CHEERS" for the school? Remember no exceptions are made for out of County. If you believe that this is WRONG please sign this petition so that all students can be treated fairly.
