Harvest 2020 Pledge: Help combat hunger and food insecurity in the Philadelphia region

Almost 12% of households in the Greater Philadelphia region suffer from food insecurity. In 2019, 1 in 5 Philadelphia residents did not have access to three meals a day. With demand for food having increased three-fold since COVID-19, local food pantries are in great need for fresh produce.

This growing season, join tens of thousands of people in Greater Philadelphia who are committed to fighting hunger by taking Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's (PHS) Harvest 2020 Pledge. Our goal is to provide over 5 million pounds of produce to those in need by mobilizing gardeners in the region.

When you pledge, we're asking you to commit to at least one of the following actions: grow produce yourself with tips and guidance from PHS, donate to PHS to support our horticultural programs, or share information about Harvest 2020 with others in your community.

The time is now to grow together to feed our families and our neighbors.

Help combat hunger in the Philadelphia region by signing the PHS Harvest 2020 pledge today.
