Take Action to protect NC's vulnerable communities from air and water pollution!

Too often, big polluters in North Carolina put their operations in vulnerable communities of color or low-income. These industrial sites often pollute air, water, and land - and multiple polluting sites in one area create a toxic combination for nearby residents.

That's why I'm hoping you'll join us in asking represenatives of North Carolina to take new actions to address the environmental injustices happening in our state. We're hoping to see North Carolina actively engage communities suffering from these injustices and prioritize more investments to protect these communities.

Add your name to our petition urging North Carolina's leaders to take new steps to protect our most vulnerable communities from toxic air, polluted water, and environmental health threats.
We, the undersigned, urge your administration to take new actions to address environmental injustice and protect communities of color and low-income that are disproportionately burdened with polluted air, water, and other environmental health risks.

I appreciate the initial steps you've taken to begin to address these issues in North Carolina. Now is the time to issue a new all-inclusive executive order that will: direct action on a wider range of environmental justice issues; actively engage communities suffering from these injustices; and prioritize investment in these communities by state agencies.

Thank you.
