Fight for the millions in need during this pandemic

The number of new coronavirus cases is rising fast — crossing borders and threatening populations around the world. In places like Yemen, Syria and Bangladesh, health systems are already barely functioning.

As COVID-19 spreads, the United Nations World Food Programme's (WFP) emergency teams are helping to tackle the virus by overseeing and implementing the supply chain and delivery (air, land and sea transportation) of critical supplies for all United Nations agencies.

Right now, WFP is providing lifesaving medical equipment to help China's hospitals in Hubei support the government's effort to combat the pandemic. WFP is also prepping stocks of food, cash, mobile warehouses and tents for immediate delivery. WFP expects to provide similar support elsewhere, and is actively ramping up to be able to meet these needs.

Vulnerable populations around the world urgently need your help.

Sign this pledge now to stand with WFP as they maintain and, where necessary, scale up operations to reach the 86 million people who require food assistance.
