Separate National History Day and Science fair be on separate semester instead of overloading the work into one.

As the times advance and children grow older, their responsible increase to levels not meant for people to experience on their age range. The students enrolled in 8th grade have seen the effects of this firsthand. Schools should separate the National History Day Project and Science Fair projects into separate semesters. The amount of work put on students by their teachers.
The amount of work for children in 8th grade tends to be weekly English homework, bimonthly and daily math homework, a science fair project, and a National History Day project. This level of homework is too much for students to endure during the first semester, when they are just getting acclimated to the 8th grade environment. The amount of homework given to students should be more spread out so students can work on the tasks one at a time to create a better end project and not end up doing it last minute. The effects of the increased work could lead to teens depriving themselves of sleep just to finish an assignment on time, and this could be reflected in their grades and health.
Schools should take notice of this epidemic of homework and problems it causes. Therefore, this petition is created to spread out the workflow and allow students to deal with either the Science Fair or National History Day project, and then the other. This will have an increased benefit on their mental health, grades, and stress. Thank you for taking the time to read to purpose of this petition.
