Shaman King Unedited Version
4Kids, the creators of the English language versions of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! has recently licensed the anime Shaman King and are planning to dub it to air on the childrens network FoxBox, but wouldn't an unedited version be much better?
Dear 4Kids Entertainment:
You recently licenced a Japanese television series called "Shaman King". We, the undersigned, would like you to make available an unedited version on DVD with the original Japanese language audio track. Please take us, the older fans, into consideration as well as the younger fans when producing the English version. We realize that your products are normally aimed towards children, but keep in mind that Shaman King is NOT aimed towards children, and therefore, we request this unedited version so that Shaman King's target audience can view it legally. We realize that your company does not usually do this; however, the unedited version has the potential to do just as successfully, if not more so, than the edited version. (A good example of this is Nelvana's Cardcaptors and Cardcaptor Sakura because when they released the unedited version, it was much more successful than the edited one.) Please consider this option, not only for a new enterprising and successful way to increase profits, but more importantly, to bring an exciting new anime to the western world and to give satisfaction to the many older fans out there.
