Elect the President by popular vote

Time and again, the people have spoken. And time and again, our will has been ignored.

Donald Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 by 2.9 million -- nearly 3 million more Americans voted for Clinton. And in 2000, George Bush lost the popular vote by 500,000 to Al Gore. Americans voted Democrat, but we got Trump and Bush anyway.

The Electoral College is flawed...and when it fails, it fails in favor of Republicans who are more popular by land mass than population. We're long past due to replace the broken electoral college with a truly democratic system: a popular vote.

We're closer than you might think.

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is rapidly gaining momentum, with 10 states and the District of Columbia on board -- 165 electoral votes. If more states sign on such that the electoral count reaches 270, our country can constitutionally switch over to a popular vote. We're already 60% there...and it only requires passing a simple state law to join the compact.

We need a true democratic system that produces the results the American people have voted for.

Add your voice to support the National Popular Vote Interstate Company and tell our state governments what the people actually want.
