Corporations Have Been Poisoning Us with PFAS Forever Chemicals. Ban These Toxins Now!

Corporations are finally being held accountable for their role in poisoning the public with PFAS, also known as 'forever chemicals.' These dangerous toxins are now contaminating drinking water all over the world, including in the U.S. And of course, once a toxin is in the water, it gets everywhere.

In a huge victory for public health and environmental protection, the state of New Jersey sued multiple giant PFAS-producing corporations. Chemours, DuPont, and Corteva will pay $875 million over the course of 25 years. This is a great step towards holding giant, multi-billion dollar corporations accountable for their role in an unprecedented public health crisis!

Unfortunately, though, PFAS are still poisoning the public, and these settlements are like a bandaid on a gaping, growing wound. Sign now to demand that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finally ban PFAS for good!

The research is clear: PFAS are incredibly dangerous and linked to horrifying, sometimes even fatal, health problems. Exposure can lead to developing various cancers, cause autoimmune diseases and infertility, and precipitate chronic organ problems. Such toxic chemicals have no place on our planet.

The scary part is that most Americans have already been exposed to PFAS. In fact, the vast majority of Americans have PFAS in their blood. PFAS are everywhere, from waterproof clothing, to non-stick pans and flame retardants, to even the packaging that our food comes in. It is almost impossible for consumers to avoid these products, and once they are in our blood or our watersheds, they're incredibly difficult to get out.

Small reforms are clearly not enough to address the scale of this crisis. Right now, PFAS are almost ubiquitous. But it doesn't have to be this way.

PFAS exposure is extremely dangerous, and we must act immediately to ban these toxic chemicals for good. Tell the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency: we demand a total ban on PFAS immediately!
