Yemen in Crisis: Speak Out for the Starving

In three years of war in Yemen, an estimated 85,000 children have lost their lives to acute malnutrition. To put it bluntly, 85,000 children have starved to death.

It's being called the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, yet relatively few have heard of it. And this crisis is only going to get worse if it doesn't receive the attention it deserves. The UN recently warned that as many as 14 million Yemenis—half of the country's total population—are facing an imminent and widespread famine if conditions don't change soon.

ADRA has been working in Yemen for more than 30 years and is one of the biggest agencies in the country. Our work will not stop as we serve those who are hungry, broken by war, and suffering as they watch their children waste away before their eyes.

But we need you. Help bring the eyes of the world to this crisis before it becomes unstoppable, and before it consumes half of Yemen's population.

No child has to die of starvation today. There are more than enough resources to prevent it. But first, the world must pay attention and care about these children and the millions in Yemen who are on the brink of famine.

Pledge your name now and help bring attention to Yemen's hunger crisis before it's too late.
