Dodgers New 5th Starter

The Dodgers' experiment with Jason Schmidt should officially come to an end. We all honor and respect his valiant efforts to come back but it's clear he no longer has the stuff to compete, putting the team at a handicap whenever he starts. The Dodgers have plenty of other good options, including Eric Stults and Scott Elbert. Games against our rivals, such as Monday Aug 10 vs San Francisco, are too important at this point to start the team at a disadvantage. We urge the Dodgers to consider giving a new pitcher a chance in that role for the stretch drive.
