Help Us Better Protect Our Children

I am a parent of a child that is enrolled in the public school system. He attends a local school in the Perry County District in Kentucky. There were two confermed cases of Staph Infection at the school. None of the parents were informed and when I found out about the matter I contacted the local Board Of Education. Their response to me was that parents do NOT have to be informed when Staph Infection has been at the school. My goal is to hopefully get the regulations changed so parents can and will be informed. I only want to feel safer when sending my child to school. Parents being informed would allow them to be able to look for symptoms in their children. As most people know Staph Infection has similar symptoms to cold/flu and if not taken to the Dr. soon enough can become very serious and sometimes deadly. If you would like to be informed when Staph Infection or other serious illness has been detected at your childs school then please sign.. Tell all the parents you know to sign as well.  Thanks for your help...
