Inspector General Walpin

Please stand up for Inspector General Walpin as he has always stood up for our American tax dollars. He is one of the few that stands up for "WE THE PEOPLE" and we should not tolerate the actions that have been taken against him for doing his job.
We the undersigned:

We are all upset about what happened to Inspector General Walpin and demand complete transparancy behind these actions in which have been taken against him.

Inspector General Walpin and his wife came from poverty and grew up in the Bronx. Walpin, a person with dreams like many of us, knew what he wanted to be in life which was a litigator so he took out massive loans so that he could achieve this dream and finally graduated from Yale Law in 1955.

Since that point in his life he has made a committment to the Americans of this great country through all of the work that he has done throughout his career. He has stood for us, the taxpayers, to ensure that the government and various charities have used our tax dollars in the manner in which they were supposed to be used in.

Wlapin has had quite a history in this country:

He was a 1st lieutenant in JAG;
A special U.S. prosecutor who took on the longest criminal jury case at the time;
A pitbull who went after conservative Roy Cohn, the infamous council to an aide of Senator Joseph McCarthy;
He was an attorney who helped to indict Nixon's top two Cabinet members:
And who represented Mia Farrow against Woody Allen.

Throughout all of these years he has fought for the American people and now it is time that we give a little back and fight for him.

He was recently fired as Inspector General because he stood up for what he believed in and because it did not make him very many friends within the current administration when he investigated Americorp and discovered that, now Mayor Kevin Johnson former NBA player) of Sacramento, CA, misused approximately $850,000 in funds for things such as personal errands and to have his car washed. Please keep in mind that this was proven and Kevin Johnson was not to recieve anymore Federal funds while Inspector General Walpin was there. Now here is where the major issue come in, Mayor Johnson is a good friend and sponsor of President Obama, and now that this has became involved in the equation Walpin is fired and threw underneath the bus and for what, looking out for our best interest..that is why.

If you have lost faith in everything else in which the government does, please know that this man may of truly been the only one left for the best interest of the American people. Oh, but it has been said that he was "disoriented and confused", but he was not more disporiented and confused than you or I. He was merely standing in the way of a large government who wants to push and shove anyone out of their way who stands against them and not for them.

We have had enough and demand that Inspector General Walpin be reinstated with a complete public apology from all those who tried to throw him under the bus. He is one of the few people that we still have faith in within the walls of government. He should not be fired for doing his job no matter who's toes he steps on along the way.

Thank you all for reading my letter. Please look at this man as the hero that he is and support me in standing up for him in the time that he needs it for he has always stood up for us the American taxpayers in everything that he has done.
