A Youth Cafe for Sevenoaks?

Sevenoaks Town Council is applying for a Youth Cafe to be built at the Stag Community Arts Centre.

The Cafe will be a meeting place for young people, where they can socialise and learn new skills in a relaxed environment. It has had support from the local community since the idea to build it was born 20 years ago, but securing the funding has proved difficult. In total the project will cost 140,000 pounds and take eight months to complete.

The building will include disabled access, new toilet facilities, and a coffee and internet bar.
