TriCountyy is a community based counseling & Health promotion agency. It is built up by a board of directors who are all volunteers from Lanark, Leeds and Grenville county. TriCounty receives funding from South East Local Health Integration Network, to help the client so they do not have to pay anything to get treated for there condition or addiction.
TriCounty offers counseling to people with mental health problems and people with drug, alcohol or gambling addictions. They work closely with the client to figure out what we can do to help them whether giving them challenges to overcome or just sitting down and have a one on one chat with them.
Not only does TriCounty work closely with the client, they work closely with their family members to help them get through any difficulties they have experienced or any problems that have occurred.
Agencies/organizations like this have limited funded and often rely on fundraiser to help pay for expenses. If TriCounty was able to convince the government to provide them with funds then they might be able to pay for more expenses and also help more people.
I think it a right cause, how about you? What if you had a teenager who was 16 years old and OD on drugs? How would you sleep a night knowing you could have called a place like TriCounty to help assist you son or daughter get over there addiction problem?
