Save the Wolves!
Ever since I was a little girl, I was intrigued by the beauty of wolves. Some may call them savages but I believe that they are the best creatures on earth. When I was at an age where I understood that numerous wolves were dying each day, I vowed to put an end to it. I have started a website, gotten my friends and family excited and to get that last push, I am creating a petition for numerous people to sign and say that I'm not alone with trying to help wolves.
Recently, Cabela's, the outdoor store, has been supporting wolf-hunting derbies. It is completely unfair of them to support the murder but now that they've started the killing, it's up to us to finish it. This petition will be going to Nebraska where Cabela's is HQed.

Dear Sidney Sun-Telegraph, We the undersigned are concerned about your refusal to run Defenders of Wildlife's ad on Cabela's support of wolf-killing derbies. Being the hometown of a Cabela's store, we understand that you were tentative about running the ad because you might've lost Cabela's ads but a small decrease of money is nothing compared to ruthless murder of innocent wolves. Luckily, Defenders was able to run their ad in The Lincoln Journal but if they hadn't been able to do so, the message of Cabela's support would've never been released and the blood of the wolves would be pushed aside and never known about to the world until many years later after all the wolves were killed. Many other places support the killing as well but a large brand name such as Cabela's should know better than to support something as stupid as this. What upsets us the most is that you were afraid to lose a sponsor so you let hundreds of wolves be killed without giving it a backwards glance. We thank you for taking the time to read our letter and hope that you realize the unfortunate chain of events that happened after your refusal. Thanks to people who are not afraid to lose sponsors, Nebraska's wolves were spared to some degree.
