Ban Plastic Bags in Massachusetts

The EPA estimates that there are between 500 billion and a trillion plastic bags used each year worldwide.  These bags photodegrade into smaller, more toxic petro polymers that end up contaminating our soil and water.  Plastic accounts for 10% of the debris that washes up on US coastlines.  Simply by using reusable bags we can keep tons of plastic out of landfills and our oceans and save precious wildlife in the process.  Join with several countries and San Francisco in banning plastic bags for good before it's too late!!
