Change the Carbine back to its original self!!

The Resistance Fall of Man community is large, and with the hype surrounding Resistance 2 the fan base is sure to double in size. Although we support and encourage Insomniac to experiment with the weapons that are found in the Resistance universe, we however do not want to see the Carbine changed so drastically so quickly. It seems that other weapons have been slightly tweaked or modified, while the Carbine has been completely revamped with the coming sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man. We as a community are concerned that one of the highlights of Resistance will no longer be there for us to enjoy in the next installment of the game. Carbine battles are one of the premier features that Resistance presented, but with all due respect, the new Carbine seems more like a gun fit for Call of Duty then Resistance. We are afraid that with the success of Resistance 2, You guys at Insomniac may think we now like the change for the better and then their will be no hope for returning the Carbine to its original, deserving way of operation.
