Traffic Light installation at 1960 and 99, Dayton Texas

Stop signs at the intersection of 1960 and 99 in Dayton are counterproductive and inefficient. The traffic backs up for over a mile on either side causing long wait to get to or from work, and people do drive recklessly, passing on both the turning lane and shoulder to get around traffic. It is my belief that a traffic light would be more efficient as has been shown at other locations where 99 intersects other highways.
