Petition For Part Of A441 Redditch Road To Be Traffic Controlled.
Located by Hopwood pub , the garage & the two bus stops this petition has been formed after locals express their safety concerns, we believe their needs to be road safety put in place by the local council. With no safety crossing to the Hopwood pub , no crossing to both bus stops or even any access to the local garage , locals struggle to safely cross the road, resulting in a death and many others having very close accidents on the A441 Redditch road. We are witnessing many people driving up to speeds of 50MPH on this road when it's a 40MPH restriction.
We believe this should be a 20MPH speed limit in this local area with a pedestrian crossing put in place to make it a safer environment when using local services. Sign this petition if you believe the council should take safety measures for our locals.
