twitter and tweets

so what happened is i realized that birds don't make the sound "twit twit" they say "tweet tweet" and yes, the messages are called tweets but what's a twit? that's just a very insulting name. so twitter should change it's name to "Tweeter" and the messages should be "chirps". i am very concerned about this because i cannot stop thinking about it anymore. i want them to change their app name to tweeter.
